Gallery ilho originated from Gallery Jungsun, which was established in 1983 in Insadong with a focus on traditional Korean art and Oriental painting. In 2013, it was rebranded as Gallery ilho to evolve into a contemporary cultural art space grounded in modern and contemporary art.
The gallery embraces a wide spectrum of artistic practices, including painting, sculpture, installation, and media art. Through thoughtfully curated exhibitions that emphasize both artistic depth and experimental vision, Gallery ilho continues to expand the discourse of contemporary art. We are also committed to discovering and supporting emerging artists, contributing to the sustainable growth of Korean contemporary art.
As a professional art venue where artistic value and commercial potential intersect, Gallery ilho seeks to foster active collaboration with both domestic and international art communities. Moving forward, we aim to serve as a dynamic cultural venue where contemporary artists and the public can engage in meaningful dialogue, cultivating a deeper connection between art and society.
