Several years have passed since everyone in the world has experienced quarantine and isolation within the "fence" of a pandemic. The experience of human relationships now begins with packages and delivery food placed at the doorstep, and terms like "home office," "home schooling," and "home cafe" have become a part of everyday life. People who live alone have become even more uncomfortable facing others, while modern people, who used to spend time outside without seeing their families, suddenly began a forced confrontation with them. Those who started spending long hours at home began expressing their individuality, once shown through clothes and shoes, through interior design and home decor. The interior design market experienced an unprecedented boom.

For me, the cradle that gives us comfort has become a wall separating the world and myself, transforming into a minimal unit of isolation and the disintegration of solidarity for the individualized modern person. Can we still call 'home' just a living space in this phenomenon?

'Home' is more than just a living space; it is the most 'relationship-condensed' space where we express ourselves. The first unit of human solidarity, the primary family, is where love and fulfillment, lack and loneliness, and many other emotions grow and are nurtured. It is an emotional space. In this space, the 'I' built layer by layer is the image of the 'we' that has not taken root, extending into the portrait of the individualized modern person.

The works are composed of the "House Tour" series, which interprets others' homes as emotional spaces through interviews, the "Home Ownership Project," which has paper-folding blueprints that allow you to create your own small house, and the "Come Visit Us, Our Home" series, where those who have sought refuge on social media invite others to their homes.
